Happy Days, by 1969 Nobel Prize winner Samuel Beckett and directed by Álvaro Viguera, is our next theatrical co-production, once again in collaboration with one of our closest partners: GAM.

Winnie is buried up to her waist, yet that does not stop her from putting on her makeup, talking endlessly, and maintaining a relentlessly optimistic outlook. Her husband, Willie, barely responds, remaining hidden for most of the play. Beckett transforms the absurd into brilliant existential comedy, where everyday rituals become both hilarious and devastating. A masterpiece about carrying on when everything around you is falling apart.
