Papelucho almost aaalmost a detective – Audio Drama

Papelucho almost aaalmost a detective – Audio Drama is a fiction podcast created by the same creative team behind the stage production and the Papelucho: Almost, Almost an Orphan podcast. This new adventure of Papelucho features an adaptation by María Izquierdo, with original music and performances by Teatro del Canto.

In this story, Papelucho embarks on an entertaining adventure after becoming involved in a confusing police incident and deciding to become a detective. This audio adaptation invites listeners to imagine the adventures of the “almost, almost detective” through an immersive soundscape and a beautifully crafted original score.

Like its predecessor, the podcast was launched in collaboration with Fundación LUZ, an organization founded by Marcela Paz that, among other initiatives, supports the education of students with visual disabilities. The launch event featured a live presentation designed specifically for visually impaired audiences.

Through this project, Fundación Gestionarte continues its mission to expand access to cultural content, enabling audiences who have historically faced barriers to reading to connect with one of the most beloved works of Chilean children’s literature.
