A Christmas Carol

Based on Charles Dickens’ classic tale, A Christmas Carol tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a selfish and miserly man whose life is transformed after being visited by a series of ghosts on Christmas Eve, ultimately softening his heart.

This was the first large-scale production created by La Santa, developed in collaboration with Cultura Capital.

The production was created to celebrate Christmas for Caja Los Andes in 2013. It was presented as a single open-air performance at Parque O’Higgins before an audience of 10,000 people.

Following its success, we created a new version several years later for the Chilean Government’s Christmas celebrations, performing to full audiences at Movistar Arena, Estadio de Coquimbo, and Estadio Germán Becker in Temuco. It became a remarkable collaborative production between La Santa, Cultura Capital, and The Cow Company, which was responsible for the technical production.

Finally, with some changes to the cast, the production enjoyed a successful Christmas season at Teatro Municipal de Las Condes.
