Cat on a Hot Tin Roof tells the story of Maggie, “the Cat,” and her deteriorating marriage to Brick, a former athlete whose life has been overtaken by alcoholism. Maggie is trapped on her own “hot tin roof”\u2014a place of frustration and unfulfilled desire\u2014and struggles with growing desperation and anxiety as her marriage falls apart.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The couple travels to Brick’s family estate to celebrate his father’s sixty-eighth birthday, where they reunite with Brick’s older brother, Gooper, and his wife, Mae.
