Written in 1958 and first premiered in Germany in 1961, it is considered one of his most important works.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The play takes place on the estate of a wealthy, traditional Chilean family, in an abandoned stable that once served as a chapel. Juli\u00e1n, the protagonist, organizes a gathering to welcome his childhood friend Enrique, whom he has not seen in more than ten years. Their reunion quickly awakens the past, driving Juli\u00e1n into an increasingly intense emotional state that forces him to confront his possessive mother, Amalia; his devout and deeply religious wife, Teresa; and Enrique himself, who finds himself drawn into a strange game known as &#8220;the ghost hunt.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With remarkable insight, Heiremans explores themes of loneliness, the inability to love, the crisis of faith, existential emptiness, and the deeply subjective nature of human relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The production is a co-production between La Santa and Teatro Municipal de Las Condes.
