About La Santa

La Santa is a Chilean production company founded in 2010 by actor, director, and academic Álvaro Viguera and actress-producer Antonia Santa María.

We create theatre, music, and film projects that entertain, inspire reflection, and engage with the human stories and social issues that shape our world. These are the themes that drive us as artists and producers.

A central part of our work is the creation of productions based on landmark Chilean and international playwrights. Through these projects, we seek to bring influential theatrical texts to new audiences, offering fresh and accessible ways of experiencing classic works.

Every production is developed in collaboration with outstanding actors, designers, musicians, and technicians who share a commitment to artistic excellence. What we value most, however, is the collective creative process itself: the unique energy that emerges when artists come together, and the connection that is completed when audiences join the experience.

The journey is not always easy, but it is always meaningful. We feel privileged to dedicate our lives to theatre and to contributing to Chile’s vibrant cultural landscape.
